Kristian Schuller came to Germany from Transylvania, Romania with his family in 1978 at the age of seven. As the son of a dramaturge/director and an art teacher, he grew up in a circle of very creative influences, resulting in his own creative career. Kristian went to the University of the Arts in Berlin and studied photography under F.C. Gundlach and Fashion Designer Vivienne Westwood, both influencing his career forever.
Nikon’s equipment has benefited my work and I in so many different ways. The Nikon Z 9 and Z 8 cameras are second to none when it comes to their autofocus and image sensor, producing high quality images every time. The combination of using both cameras is perfect for me, as the Nikon Z 6II compliments the Nikon Z 7 as an excellent film camera. When it comes to my camera choice, weight is also an important factor for me, so I especially enjoy being able to take the Nikon Z 7 in my camera case as hand luggage as I am often travelling for work.
